WWMM with new time saving features

In order to get quick access to your mailbox, World Wide Mobile Mail (WWMM) already supports the submission of your POP3 server's name, your username and password either via a cookie or in the URL. This is already quite comfortable, because you don't need to enter cryptic data on a small keyboard like a WAP mobile phone or a mobile Internet device. Nevertheless, it also could be time saving to submit your preferences like your e-mail address, the number of e-mails in your inbox or the layout in the XHTML Basic version in the same mode. Therefore, WebCab.de has implemented some new features in WWMM to improve the quick and comfortable access to mailboxes whichever browser or device you use.

WWMM supports the following additional features to save your time:

  1. HTML 4 version (http://webcab.de/wwmm.htm ):
    • The activation of APOP and the number of e-mails per page in the inbox can be submitted via the URL.
    • The name of the mail server, the username, the password, the activation of APOP, the number of e-mails per page and the user's e-mail address can be stored in a cookie. The user's e-mail address is used as sender's address, if the user creates a new e-mail, or if the automatically generated sender's address in a reply or forward e-mail is invalid.
  2. XHTML Basic version (http://webcab.de/wwmm.xhtml ):
    • The activation of APOP, the number of e-mails per page in the inbox and the page layout (tabular or textual) can be submitted via the URL.
    • The name of the mail server, the username, the password, the activation of APOP, the number of e-mails per page, the page layout and the user's e-mail address can be stored in a cookie. The user's e-mail address is used as sender's address, if the user creates a new e-mail, or if the automatically generated sender's address in a reply or forward e-mail is invalid.
    • The selection of the tabular or textual page layout is no longer limited to the inbox. It has now an impact on all other pages. The textual design has been optimised for mobile Internet devices with small displays, like Palm devices, Pocket PC and so on.
  3. WML version (http://webcab.de/wwmm.wml ):
    • The activation of APOP, the number of e-mails per page in the inbox and the user's e-mail address can be submitted via the URL. The user's e-mail address is used as sender's address, if the user creates a new e-mail, or if the automatically generated sender's address in a reply or forward e-mail is invalid.
