The Pocket Internet Explorer supports ActiveX controls and allows the accessory methods and properties to be scripted. However, in contrast with the Internet Explorer for the desktop, the downloading and installing of ActiveX controls on the fly is not supported on Pocket PC. Only, ActiveX controls that already reside on the Pocket PC can be referenced with the <OBJECT> tag.
The Fit to screen function will resize the ActiveX control to fit into the screen area. This will not influence the content of the control which will not be resized. Thus, ActiveX controls which shall be used to be used in the Pocket Internet Explorer, shall be designed to fit into 240 pixels.
