2.3.4.11. Image colour

The Pocket Internet Explorer, non surprisingly, displays colour images on colour displays and black and white images on gray scale or monochrome devices by conversion. The result of the colour to black and white conversion process in the Pocket Internet Explorer is strongly dependant on the original colour scheme of the image. This process works best on images that have a high contrast ratio between the included colours and that have sharp edges in the details of the picture.
